Great chair at a very fair price, fast delivery, great experience
We have never had a recliner but my husband had shoulder surgery and broken ribs and needed reclining positions to sleep. This chair is comfortable and moves smoothly through a big range of positions with the electric remote. It is very plain, solid quality and has useful features like the charging ports. It was very easy to assemble, I had a male friend help. The boxes are heavy so it might be hard for one older woman to manage alone. I ordered on Monday night with promise of free delivery Weds. And sure enough they booted him out Weds after Monday surgery and the chair boxes were waiting on our porch when we got home from the hospital.

UPDATED REVIEW: McCombo fixed everything without me needing to ask them. BRAVO McCOMBO!!
UPDATE:08/01/2022Everything that was negative in my first post was graciously and very professionally fixed by McCombo chairs. Without me needing to ask, they sent me a replacement chair and arranged for a UPS pick up of the first chair, in its damaged box. I naturally offerd to retape the damaged box, which they wrote me back thanking me, and saying that they were very grateful for my efforts .They apologized multiple times for the damage.Their polite, friendly communications surprised me! Not many companies go to this extreme to be helpful, grateful and just nice! BRAVO McCOMBO!!!The replacement chair was delivered perfectly by UPS. It appears to me as if the first FedEx delivery might have been the cause for the extreme damage. The continutation with a different delivery serice, UPS delivery, was flawless as always! LOVE UPS!All dealings with McCombo has been very helpful and professional. Communication was always prompt, professional, and quite friendly. It was a pleasure communicating with a real live person, who went above and beyond, to make a bad situtation PERFECT! I will definately be a repeat customer as we continue to decorate our family room. McCombo proved to me how a QUALITY company respects and treats their customers. IMHO, McCombo is THE BEST company on Amazon!!! 5-MILLION STARS*********** BRAVO!!!!!THANK YOU McCOMBO!(EVERYTHING BAD IN BELOW FIRST REVIEW HAS NOW BEEN FIXED NOW BY McCOMBO).OLD FIRST REVIEW:Deliverd in a ripped up box, with things sticking out of it. Looks like it came from the DUMP!First, let me say that I LOVE Amazon. I've been a very satisfied Amazon customer for MANY years. So, when considering making a major purchase of over $600 , I didn't hesitate for a moment. I knew everything was going to be just fine.Sadly, this is NOT the case! This McCombo lift chair is to be a Birthday gift for my husband (06/13). He has had a very rough time lately after breaking hip. I thought this lift chair would make his life a little easier, less painful, and his birthday a little happier after his rough year. However, the box that was delivered looks like it didn't only come from the GARBAGE DUMP, but the BOTTOM of the GARBAGE DUMP!!The box is a disgusting, ripped up, piece of falling apart garbage, with pieces sticking out of it!The second box, which seems to be the backrest looks nice, but the main box containing the motor etc is all ripped and torn with pieces sticking out of it. I haven't totally opened the box yet. I'm fearful that there might be major pieces missing or damaged. I'm also worried that some critter might jump out of the box. It looks ripped, but also possibly chewed in places, with larger irregular shaped holes in the box. I would assume after spending this MUCH MONEY on a chair, that it would be delivered in good shape. How am I going to put a bow on a piece of ripped up garbage to wish my poor husband a Happy Birthday? Glad I didn't order a second chair for myself, as I had originally planned.Amazon, and the seller should be ashamed of sending out garbage to their loyal customers!!!!SHAME..SHAME...SHAME on Amazon, the seller, and also FedEx who dumped this pile of junk in our driveway without so much as ringing our bell. Our dog barked , and came and got me after hearing the FedEx truck. By the way, it had just started to rain, so without our wonderful dog alerting me of the delivery truck leaving, this mess would have been much worse, plus drenched! Glad it wasn't garbage day, or surely this pile of junk would have been mistaken for trash and hauled away to the dump, which is where it looks like it came from! I'm a reasonable person, and realize that at times a little damage is occasionally to be expected during delivery , but this is outrageous! I'm getting up the courage to open up this mangled disgusting box, but it worries me. There is no excuse for this. NONE!!Sign me VERY DISGUSTED! :(

Overall I’m satisfied
This is a very basic chair - no bells or whistles at all. It isn’t plush or super comfy but I got it so my little dog could lay beside me and it works great for that. It’s comfortable enough and I usually spend hours at a time in it. The remote is great with just an up or down button so you can stop anywhere you want. I wish it laid back a little more for sleeping but I’m getting used to sleeping at this level. I bought the recliner cover to go with it and overall I’m pretty satisfied.

Very comfy power recliner
I have been very pleased with this power recliner. I needed it so I could sleep with my head elevated after sinus surgery. It is very comfortable, relatively inexpensive, easy to put together, and it charges my phone. There are also cup holders and pockets for my phone and other items. Although I do not need the "elderly" feature (yet), my grandchildren think it's so much fun to get spilled out the front to assist in standing. By the way, it moves slowly which I think is a safety feature. I am 5' 6" and one daughter is 5' 10"-the recliner is comfortable for both of us. Overall, I am very pleased.

Just what we needed
Attractive, easy to assemble, extremely quiet in operation. Exactly what we were looking for. Gives my husband the boost he needs to transfer from chair to wheelchair.

Easy to Assemble
I got this for my mother who is 5'8". The size is large enough for her.The padding is firmer than I expected. It feels like it will be comfortable and last well. Our chair was delivered in 2 boxes on separate days. I was away from the house but my wife was able to carry them inside with no problem. The chair has 4 large pieces and it seems like a few small bolts. The pieces fit together by sliding into metal tracks. I had a small problem attaching the back to the base because I couldn't see the grooves on the base once I was holding the back in front of me. Now that i knew to be aware of that, I paid better attention to their location and it came right together. The only other problem I think someone could have with the assembly would be if they didn't push the pieces all the way to the bottom of the groove. Just give them an extra push once they are in place and that should assure you they're in place. They included an extra two plastic covers, (about the size of a quarter), for the contact points with the floor which was nice. Now I just need to keep up with them for a few years, hah. Since it has pockets on the sides, I just dropped them in there. The remote control only has an up and a down arrow. It's very easy to use. A funny on me- Pressing the up button, which I assume means "I want to get up." to the rest of the world, but to me means, "Lift the footrest up, I want to recline." and I press the down button thinking, "I want the footrest to go down." I'm sure if I sat in the chair regularly it would become second nature. So I'm very happy with it and so glad I didn't have to take mom to a store.
