This is a lovely book with beautiful illustrations it mainly covers how Diwali is celebrated rather than the story behind it. Our 2yr old loved it and it is a good place to start with little ones

Beautifully drawn, relevant
This book talks about how Diwali is celebrated in modern India, so it's very relevant. The illustrations are clear, detailed and beautiful! We loved reading it with our kid Not so great: the book's spine was damaged when it came.

Delightful approach to a different culture for children. Granddaughter goes to a Montessori managed by women of Pakistani origin and we gifted the book to its director

The story and pictures in this book are great. The quality could be better - my baby loves putting things in the mouth and damaged this book easily by doing that.
