Cooling Vest with 8 Ice Packs - Heat Relief Vest for Men & Women

I am an industrial painter, the booth I paint in ranges from 90-110 degrees in the Florida Humidity and I wear non-breathable tyvek suits- long story short- summer is miserable! I ordered one of these with low expectations, but it has blown my mind how much of a difference it makes! The vest looks like a Walmart cashier vest (who cares) but is very adjustable and barely noticeable when wearing it. The biggest possible issue for me is dexterity while painting- this thing doesn’t get in the way at all. All of the ice packs are centered over your core and keep your temperature down great and super easy to use. It seems pretty durable, I bump into sharp corners frequently and haven’t popped any of the ice packs yet so quality and durability I give a solid 10 after 2 months of daily use. The packs last about 2-3 hours while I paint in 100 degree temperatures and it comes with 2 sets of ice packs so I can get about 6 hours of cooling a day. Notice I say cooling, not freezing, this vest will not make you cold, but greatly helps to keep your core temperature down and make the day more tolerable. I will gladly buy again if I break this one! Tip- do not overfill the ice packs or they can start to feel uncomfortable, and make sure you lay them flat when re freezing so they don’t poke you when you put the vest on and get even cooling.

I have MS and am very sensitive to high heat & humidity. This cooling vest REALLY has helped me to be able to participate in activity on hot and very humid days this summer! It’s very easy to use, also. My only complaint is that sometimes if I needed to bend forward the top ice pack on the back side has fallen out. It’s a simple fix with Velcro. It may look a bit odd when you put it on but the benefits outweigh those issues! The vest itself weighs very little. The size is easily adjustable and the ice packs were simple to activate and stay frozen for several hours. I like that you get 8 ice packs so you can switch them out when needed. This vest was a great investment!

Pretty good for the price! I'm 5'6" and 230lbs and it fit me comfortably. The icepacks are a bit of a pain to fill but they work great so it's worth the hassle lol I work outdoors daily for my job and this is a game changer for me. Like other reviews mentioned it mostly helps keep your core body temperature down rather than providing a super cold feeling. But that's exactly what you need if you're in the heat for long periods of time, it's caused a major difference in how I feel at the end of my shifts! I sweat a LOT less when I'm wearing this and I no longer feel sick at the end of super hot days. I love that it comes with eight icepacks so I can just switch them all out after 3-4 hours once the first set have melted and it keeps me cool my whole shift. My only real complaint and the reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is that the pouches that hold the icepacks don't have any kind of fastener to keep them closed. So the icepacks in the front were falling out every time I bent over. I just bought some stick on velcro for a few bucks and added it to the pouches myself so they stay closed now. It just would have been nice if they came with zippers or something rather than me having to sort it out with an additional purchase before I could keep wearing the vest. But other than that I highly recommend this if you're out in the heat a lot!

Absolutely the worst purchase. First of all, had to fill the pouches myself, usually when you buy an ice pack, the gel is already...... anyway, so after getting over that, and figured out how the packs go into the compartments. I don't understand why they give 8 pouches when you can only place 4. Maybe to switch out is all i can figure(you know nowadays they don't believe in sending instructions or a manual) 2nd red flag after having the ice packs in the freezer for 8 hours, not all of them became frozen. 3rd red flag, so after putting the 4 that were frozen in the compartments, i put it on, since it was 103 degrees outside, and had a 1 hour drive home. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. DID NOT KEEP ME COOL AT ALL. Will be sending this back immediately.

I tested this this morning cutting grass. About 1.5 hours. 75 degrees starting to 85 degrees finishing. It does help at those temps. After 1.5 hours all 4 icepacks were completely melted but still somewhat cool. I dont think they would have lasted 2 hours. There are 9 icepacks that come with it. You will get wet from condensate. If you are working middle of the day, 100+ temps or working all day this is not what you want. The vest has elastic straps on the sides so it should adjust for most people. I'm a xxlt and i did not have a problem with the fit.

I want to first say that I have not tried this above 90 F (32 C). It helps me at that temperature. I am at risk to serious heat related problems and do not willingly go out for long above 95F (35C)and start using it before it become dangerous. The nozzle for filling the ice packs was either missing or dropped as the package was opemed. A standard kitchen funnel worked fine. The ice packs took some hours to freeze in my freezer. My lunch kit gel packs worked. Maybe not as well as the packs that came with it. Those seem colder. These are not simple ice bags. There is a resin powder in them that does make them feel colder to the touch. It is easy to adjust the fit. I think the price was a good one for the vest and 2 sets of cold packs.

It’s a good product for something simple. The waste straps could be better. But overall for the price. Good quality

First impressions…will update when I actually wear and use it. I tried it on without the ice packs to see if it would even fit me. 1. The vest itself is one size and tiny on my body. I didn’t realize it would be one size. The width is about 9inches and length is 16.5inches and a few inches longer in the back. 2. The pockets for the ice packs are smaller than expected. They measure 8in by 4.75in. They also appear to be two pocket in one to maybe place two ice packs? I’m not sure because one of them might fall out. I was hoping to use some of my own ice packs. But they won’t fit. 3. The fillable ice packs are strange… A. The opening to fill them is tiny. I have no idea how they close and seal up but they do. B. I’m unsure if it’s just a one time fill deal or what because once I filled them I cannot figure out how to open them again. If I return it, I’m unsure how to get it back to original condition. C. I used a straw stuck down in the hole to fill them better because initially the water wasn’t going into the pack. But when i filled it enough I guess I messed something up because the pack is fatter than the others. Like it’s fully of air. D. So far the ice packs have not gotten hard and they’ve been in the freezer for about 8 hours. Prior to buying it I did wonder how the ice vest would be “comfortable” with hard/sharp ice packs. 4. I’m an XXL and I have it adjusted to the biggest it can go and it’s a little snug. I’m using this because I have a heat intolerance and I’m hoping it will help my symptoms related to being in the heat. I will report back but whether it helps or not doesn’t really change my review or would possibly help someone since we are all in different bodies. I wore this outside and it is not cooling enough. I tried it in between a tank and shirt and also over my bra directly on skin. It’s really strange that the ice is somewhat cold out of the freezer but not cold on my body. I don’t know if I’m just too fat for it to be effective or what. I have POTS so I guess I’d need lots of ice to cool me down.

Causes extreme pain in chest as packs can't be evenly distributed, only around your heart and stomach. Pack guidelines are not clear at all. The best feature is the bag that does help keep things full, but otherwise I would avoid this. I was unable to fursuit for any longer than normal in the suit

Pour un usage moto,sous le blouson avec la dorsale,c'est un peut encombrant.Surtout au niveau dorsale supérieure.Sinon niveau rafraîchissant.C'est un petit plus mais ne pas en attendre une grande sensation de fraîcheur.

Straps actually ripped off the vest with no pressure. Not fit for the purpose. Straps basically just disintegrated. Very cheaply made.

Quality isn’t that good for the price, I’m mean it’s ok but you can tell the quality isn’t very good and it’s small thought it would make bigger.. wouldn’t purchase again

Awkward to insert ice packs and to put on. 60 mins later and you need to re-insert.
