Very Good Product
I have purchased a dozen of these over the years. They are well made, hold up well and don't rust. I use these outdoors exclusively.

Easy install. Very convenient.
Keep lubricated with any marine grade anti-corrosion spray. Especially, for salt or brackish waters. Brackets and stainless steel bolts, locking nuts, and washers were included. Ratchets are easy to install and use. The brackets were mounted on existing trailer frame bolts. If you have a flat surface to mount them on, then don’t use the brackets. Just pay attention to the angle of the strap for mounting location. You would obviously not use a mounting location that requires a severe angle that kinks the strap sideways.

Just what my boat needed!
These auto retractable boat straps work great! They are so much easier to use than the prying style straps. I like that they auto retract when when you connect them up to the boat, and then you just ratchet it 2 or 3 times and they are tight. Push the release button and it’s free to unhook and it reels itself back back up and out of the way. Very convenient!

Release springs are failure point.
Easy to install. But unfortunately every thing is solid built except for the springs on the button release. Only lasted few months and springs failed.

Customer service!
Update: After speaking to the seller Love and Pieces, they honored my original purchase and replaced them with the correct size! Five stars for customer service! We'll see if these hold up any better. These are not holding up as expected. I will be changing out with boat buckles. Was sent the 1" version instead and maybe that's why. I would not recommend.
