Super cute excellent quality tiny drum set. We purchased as a birthday gift for our 1yr old grandson to grow into this year. It’s a bit big for him now, but with daddy’s help he immediately started banging on it. His eyes lit up and his smile was priceless. While this set was a little over the top for a 1yr old, it did not cost much more than a plastic baby toy, and will last him so much longer! Really well constructed, legit quality drum set. Daddy, a drummer, was impressed! Our set came with a slight flaw, but the seller was very responsive and quick to reply. They have said they will mail out a replacement part for the bent drum pedal. Have not yet received that, but hoping they follow through. All in all it is a really great set, awesome color, and sturdy construction. Best for tiny tots...would not get for kids over 10, even then it is a bit small (they sell a larger one for older kids). But definitely perfect for little ones as a starter set.

Bought this drum kit for my daughters 7th birthday. My other boys have a keyboard and guitar. They had aspirations to start a family band. My daughter really wanted this drum set for her birthday and she was really surprised to receive it. I put it together that night of her birthday and it was really easy to put together. Probably took 10-15 minutes and she was drumming away. It’s been about a month and all of the kids have had time to play the drums. At first it sounded a racket, but they’ve all been able to find some rhythm and play some patterns with the help of YouTube and learning from each other. It’s been great to watch the progression. Happy with this set. My only concern is the included chair. The top comes off even though there is a indent for the tightening screw, but it loosens and we almost had an incident when my boy stood up and the seat fell off and he almost sat down directly on the seat post, which is a sharp steel post. I drilled a hole in the post and now the seat tightening screw recesses in the hole. We lose the ability to rotate the seat, but it’s safer now.

I spent weeks researching a drum set for my 7 year old. I wanted something small to fit our space, not too expensive in case he didn’t commit to drumming, and (most importantly) not a cheap toy. He’s obsessed with instruments and past the stage of gimmicky toy instruments. This fit the bill. Mendini is an amazing company. I was impressed after researching them and how they make real instruments for avid music loving kids to learn. After hours looking at other similar products I decided to get this and I am very glad I did. Despite seeing that they made real instruments for kids, admittedly I still expected an instrument similar to other drum toys. They sound the part but aren’t really exact. As soon as I opened the box and saw the quality of the cymbal I was surprised. The quality of everything is fantastic. The parts are well made and nothing about this feels cheap. The construction is also simple enough I feel my son will be able to adjust things to his liking in no time. This is a real drum. I feel this is important for parents to know. This isn’t something cute to get a toddler, because they’ll ruin it in 6 months. This is a real instrument to get kids who genuinely want to learn how to play and have something special. This is a special thing for me to give my son for Christmas and I could not be happier. The instructions were a little difficult to understand. Of course, I attempted to build it at midnight on Christmas Eve so I’m thankful my husband was there to decipher and help. It took a bit of time to put together but all in all it was not bad.

Bought for my 3 year old son. It’s a bit large for him, but he will be able to grow into this set. Very nice set, but the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because the snare drum isn’t secure in its stand (it fell over on top of my 3 year old, he’s fine) and the tom drum isn’t able to be tightened down onto the rod and is easily moved. Otherwise, we love it. Really good materials and really good sound. My son absolutely LOVES it!! Being a Mom who use to play, I can tell you it’s a great buy!

My wife and I bought this for our 2 1/2 year great nephew when he visits. As soon as he comes through the front door he heads for the playroom and starts playing his drums. The drums were easy to assemble and I the parts fit great. I was fortunate to not have the problems some other customers experienced with the hardware not fitting. The skins appear to be good quality for a child's drum set. My great nephew has been playing on the drums every visit for the past six weeks and they have held up well to him and our 12 y/o daughter. I only wish he knew how to play a more tolerable version of "Wipeout". This drum set was originally suppose to have been a Christmas present but we were tired of our little great nephew using pots and pans for instruments. This is a must have for Christmas if your child has any inclination toward making "music".

We bought this for our son’s 2nd birthday and we are all obsessed! It is perfect size for him and very sturdy. It looks great and he enjoys playing on it! The seat is great too, it is low enough to the ground for him to be able to sit down on his own, but still reach the pedal for the bottom drum. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who is in the market for a high quality drum set for your child. Even my 7 year old step son loves playing it. I can’t say enough good things about this set.

I spent far more time than is warranted doing research on $70-$100ish kids drum sets and arrived on this purchase. I am happy and want to note a few things. Reading reviews of this drum kit there were a few issues / red flags that gave me pause. I made the purchase anyway and was pleasently surprised to see that Cecilio has evidently addressed some of the recurring issues. Don't know if every set but my assuaged concerns include: -Pedal Squeaking - There were several comments about a loud squeaking chain driven bass drum pedal. They appear to have corrected this by using a spring / tether system. No sqeaks now - No Instructions Included - I saw several comments that said the unit arrived with no instructions and you had to download a PDF from their site. There were instruction in my package and they were actually pretty good. Also the assembly is not that complicated. You build the base drum (shell, membrane, rims) the rest is pretty much done - Cheap / Breaking Hardware - This was not what I experience. Not exactly NASCAR quality alloy or anything but the hardware seemed pretty standard grade and I didn't have any issues tightning things down Thats it. Promise I'm not getting paid by Cecilio but I thought if you were shopping and came across the same concerns it would be helpful to know, that in the case of the unit I received at least, that these issues have been addressed.

Can't speak for durability, as we just set it up, but this little kit is pretty impressive. Looks, sounds, and plays great. I think I've had as much fun with it as my 3yo. One thing to add: DAMPENING. The sound of the tom and kick drums will be greatly be improved by tossing a little cloth/small towel in them. But more importantly, for the sake of your poor eardrums, dampen the cymbal. Ducktape a small piece of cloth to the underside. Took me a few mins of 3yo smashing the cymbal for me to figure this out. My ears are ringing add I write. TL;DR: With a little dampening, it's a great little kit. You'll be impressed.

Bought this set for my Grandson's birthday. It is very well made and easy to put together. Sound for a junior set is also very good. Delivery was on time and well packed. Would definitely recommend this product.
