Speedo Mens Swimsuit Brief Endurance+ Solid Adult

As long as you order 2 sizes up from your true waist size, fit will be correct. For ex, my waist measures true 34 inches and I ordered size 38 for perfect fit once my Speedo arrived! Also, this is the only Speedo men's bathing suit that is extremely durable over years time given its polyester material, as opposed to all other Speedo models (with that semi-stretchy "dycra" or "lycra" material or whatever they call it !!) will stretch out & wear out within only a year or so. Style of these is extremely traditional, no side panel color accent, but that is what I look for. I've been a competitive swimmer since the Mark Spitz days of the 1970's, started in chlorine pools, & 20 years ago moved outside to spring and summer ocean swims in salt water (still doing my chlorine pool swims in fall and winter). These specific Endurance Speedo suits last for years and years and years !!! I own four. You'll feel like a kid again !!! Highly recommend !!!

The suit arrived early, but the packaging was very banged up. Luckily, the suit itself seems to be fine, no pilling or damage that would suggest it’s a used suit. Out of the box, they feel premium, not as much like spandex as I expected, and the brand label is actually embroidered, which was another bonus! I like the black color, I’ve never had swim briefs before but I wanted to get a solid dark color so as to stand out as least as possible. For reference, I am 5’10”, 175ish lbs. I ordered a 34 (size M on the packaging) and it seems to fit as intended. I haven’t swam in it yet so I’ll have to update later after I do, but when dry, the leg holes are a little snug, not cutting off circulation but tight. Everywhere else fits fine though there’s only a bit of stretchiness. I’ve heard they loosen up a little when wet, so that’ll be nice.

My husband got these for swimming. He is a big guy and the long swimming trunks get shredded because he has thick thighs. I am sure he appreciates me saying this. He says these fit well and are true to size. They have lasted quite awhile and are holding up really well. He typically swims about 30-40 minutes three times a week in a really chlorinated pool. Overall great product.

I feel like some people (especially frequent swimmers) writing reviews here have gotten counterfeits or something. I can understand if a non-swimmer thinks they're too small even if they're not but most who have left those reviews have a lot more miles in the pool than I do, so I trust they've gotten something unexpected. However, I've worn a few Speedo brand suits (all with different fabric blends) and they've all fit about the same. I'm in my 50s and at the upper end of "healthy" BMI -- and that's due not being a buff gym rat, but to carrying a little extra fat. I'm being descriptive here for the purpose of discussing fit. I'm not fat enough to have "love handles" or muffin-topping except a little bit at the kidneys -- I don't have a gut hanging over them. I bought these in the same size I would buy underwear or jeans. They're definitely snug, but not too small - if I order again, I will not be ordering larger. They SHOULD be snug, that's the point. They're stretched when I'm wearing them but there's no "struggle" required to put them on/off. Fabric feels a little more like a t-shirt or polo shirt than most Speedo fabrics - it feels like cloth rather than silk...but I only notice while I'm in the act of putting them on. Once I'm in the pool, I can easily forget I'm even wearing a suit. There is less stretch than some of their fabrics. Most noticeable if you try to stretch them vertically. Waist/leg holes are quite stretchy. The panels themselves considerably less so. IMHO they stretch "enough" but some will prefer more spandex, even at the cost of shorter life in chlorine. I'm currently at about 85 wearings on them, in a well-chlorinated pool, at 45-60 minutes each wearing. They've been in the pool...whirlpool....and even sauna a few times. They still look and feel like new to me - no fading, pilling etc. I'll probably grab a backup pair soon for when they eventually do give out, but I don't see that happening for months yet.

Fit: Just right. I've worn size 32 forever, and haven't lost or gained more than 4# over the last decade. It works for me. The fabric feels good new, with no sag. What it'll feel like in a year will take that long. I can't tell if the waistband has elastic in it, whereas the leg holes do have some. My last set of polyester briefs from Tyr had elastic in the waist which went gooey and kept the drawstring from moving until I soaked the suit in acetone. I hope that won't be necessary with these and I also hope it doesn't cause fabric damage. Update July 31, 2020. Finally, after five years and using these three times a week, I had to renew the threads on all the seams. The legs began to ride into my gluteal crease, which I fixed by sewing new elastic to the leg holes. Still, the fabric itself has held up remarkably. Second life for these briefs.

I was concerned about buying a swimsuit without seeing it and trying it on. However, I am glad I did because I really like this suit. I think it is a good suit for serious lap swimmers who are not trying to make a fashion statement. As suggested by other buyers, I ordered a larger size. My jeans are 33 but I ordered a 36 for the swimsuit. It fits great and is very comfortable. I probably would have been ok with a 34 but it would have been more skin tight. The material is stretchy and appears to be good quality. Coverage in the back is good for me (average size). There is a little extra material in the crotch which I like. The sides are 4 inches. I think it looks a little more conservative than some of the other swim briefs.

I chose a five star rating for these Speedos, because the fit*, build quality and fabric are all outstanding. Having purchased many Speedo products over the years, I personally think they have gotten nothing but better. This basic pair of swim briefs features a fully-lined interior (they used to just have a lined front panel) and embroidered Speedo logo (instead of a heat transfer decal that didn't last very long). *When I say the fit is outstanding, that is with the caveat that Speedos always feel very tight if you buy the same waist size as you would for Levis, or whatever. I have a 32 waist and buy 34 in Speedos, which works fine for me. They are tight and very secure, with nothing hidden. If you are a larger size, like a 36, you may want to order even two waist sizes larger. Bigger than a 36? You may want to opt for board shorts - just kidding, but you probably get my jest!

Me quedó un poco grande pero no es de mucha importancia ya que tuve que comprar la talla 36 (G) ya que era la que estaba de oferta así que era esperable 😂, la caja marcaba M pero era G (36). Ya quiero estrenarlo en la piscina o en el mar

Tiene la apariencia de una sunga. No es un traje de baño tan corto y eso me gustó. Además que la marca representa calidad.

I swim at pool everyday so I need a really endurance swimsuit for everyday use. I bought this product with different color (black) more than a year ago and it really endurance to last over 6 months. Last time I purchased size of 28 (Size a little smaller than usual; that's a little too tight because it's youth size), I need to replace it not because of material deterioration, but because of threads broken due to size too small. This time I purchased size 30 and it fits me better and I hope it can lasts even longer. I will definitely buy this again in future in case I need to replace the old ones.
