Adjustable Drafting Table Art Desk, Storage Drawers & Stool, Wood

Assembled easy. Got a like new one and everything was there for $80 shipped. Had one blemish on right rear corner where the black peeled or chipped about an inch but didn’t make any difference for my setup which is currently a 2’x2’1’ galvanized a/c plenum as a spray booth. As can be seen there is plenty of room on the table for it and a full rack of paint plus brushes and etc on the left and plenty on the right. The drawers are useful and actually hold a full drawer of paint bottle weight so that was surprising that they still slid fine. The plastic tray is there and kinda useful but more for erasers and pencils I think yet gets used. The plenum is a foot deep leaving room for a six inch inline fan and ducting pretty exactly with the front lip right over the pencil ledge. The stool is a nice add if you don’t have one but I use it for a little side stand. The table raises and lowers really easy and locks into several positions well. This thing fit my current needs exactly. It will accommodate a 2x2x2’ plenum also but that requires a side pull vent if you want to push the table to the wall. It is sturdy and stable. The only thing that was a bit goofy on the install was the bottom shelf and just took a bit of manipulating but easy enough and the rest was straight forward. And don’t set the legs all the way down in there to start with when you get there in the instructions. Keep them up high and then lower to where you want it with the knobs. I did that initially and getting the table back up required me standing on frame and doing that one side at a time as I raised it a bit at a time till I got it to the top and then set it at the height I needed. As to what was available on amazon, this unit for the cost is exceeding my expectations needs wants and desires so far and I would recommend it. If you need something fancy then this probably isn’t it although highly functional, it is after all inexpensive and basic with mesh drawers and random plastic and inexpensive overlay on the table top. The lower shelf thing is functional but quite limited and could be a bit wider maybe but it holds what I need it to so yeah. Good strong frame on it and the knobs hold well and tight the feet are nice and wide and the whole thing sits flat even and not wonky as long as you have it set with a level or the knobs in their corresponding holes which are level actually I checked. Great option especially at like new.

Table has a weird mechanism for tilting but it works fine. Really surprised that the slots for pens keeps hold of pens even when adjusted to certain levels. Overall works great.

This desk was incredibly cheap. I knew I wasn't getting the best desk of all time going in. It's important to set your expectations when buying a budget item, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. The metal body puts this way above any cheap particleboard ikea-type furniture, in my opinion. The drawing surface itself is the only low quality part of this whole desk. It came with visible dents and imperfections. Nothing too serious though, and given how genuinely nice and sturdy the rest of the desk feels, I might just replace the board if it falls apart one day and keep using this desk. I'm a fan of the flat surface on the left. The most annoying part of any drafting desk is figuring out where to put your art supplies, and this is a pretty good solution. I also really like the drawers. They're made of fabric, to cut costs I imagine, but that's not an issue for me. Again this is cheaper than basically any other drawing desk you'll find and managed to be pretty good. I can accept some things like the drawes being made of fabric. They can sometimes catch when you're trying to slide them back in, though. My one genuine complaint is that it's difficult to adjust the angle. To the point where I'll avoid it altogether and just keep it at the same angle for most projects. I'd consider that a minor issue though and still think the desk deserves 4 stars.

First, I feel like I should review this product because I was a little apprehensive when ordering. There were many good reviews, but also quite a few that didn't like the quality or had shipping issues. So, I was relieved when mine arrived with only minimal damage to the packaging. Since the desk was protected by additional layers inside the box, there was no damage to any parts. Assembly was easy. It took about 1.5 hours and I did it myself other than my husband helping me assemble to the desktop onto the base and adjust the height. The parts, tools (other than a Phillips screwdriver) were included, and the instructions are easy to follow. The instruction book was put together a little strange where I had to flip back and forth for the next page to be facing the right direction. Maybe this was just my booklet, but it wasn't a big deal. Once everything was put together, I was so happy that there was no damage to any of the desk components. There were a few places where I could see where the metal was welded together, but very minor and it doesn't affect the functionability, so it's not an issue. This will be a multi-purpose desk for me, however I know I will use it a lot for diamond painting. Being able to angle the desktop will be great for this purpose. I added an attached led magnifying light (not included) to lessen the need for a light board or glasses. The drawers are pretty sturdy for fabric and the inserts are sturdy enough for their purpose. I was able to adjust the desk for my legs to go under without hitting and the top height is still ergonomically while sitting on the stool. I like that this desk can even be adjusted for standing. The stool is sturdy and comfortable, although I haven't sat on it for long periods yet. The only thing I wish were different is that the sliding surface would slide all the way under the top to save space when not in use. Not a deal breaker though. All in all, this desk seems like a good value.

Wonderful art desk. Height is perfect for my drafting chair and the extra slide out section is perfect for a cup of coffee and my phone. This is just what I was looking for and it exceeded my expectations. I'm an old lady and I got it put together by myself with very little problems. There was a small issue with a missing piece and the seller took care of the issue extremely quickly and with excellent communication. Totally a 5 star product and 5 star seller!

I love the product so far! The assembly was easy and my order arrived just fine and no damage. It’s a good thing that I bought the one with the wooden top because it doesn’t get damaged and it’s easy to clean. I can’t wait to use it someday.

Desk was way bigger than we expected, easy assemble and it is perfect for our middle schooler who loves to draw.

Value for the money is great. I love how this table looks and feels! It is perfect for a place to do arts and crafts! Very easy to assemble, I think someone said to have 2 people to assemble however it is not really necessary, I built it myself. The size isn’t too big, but not too small either, I have lots of space for my tools that I’m using as well as my project. I think the stool is a wee bit shorter than it should be but overall I’m happy with my purchase!

Not strong or stable. Raising and lowering the table is very primitive and difficult and requires a water balance. The table is not worth half its price.

Good value for the price. Materials seemed to be rugged / good quality. Was securely packed and instructions were easy to follow. The adjustment on the desk surface to raise and lower it worked well. I would order from them again.
