The media could not be loaded.  It's huge and well-made. We bought a winder kite spool for convenience. It all worked good. But yes as another review suggests, this one needs like 15mile/hr wind, it can't go high in light wind. It's a good beach kites. We flew it at Monument at DC and for good flying experience we will go to a beach.

This kite needs a steady 15 mph or more to flyAdditionally while very well made the string holder is crap and actually cuts the line

This kite is 5-6' in body length with the additional length of a tail, I am 68 years old and only 5'2" tall. It gets up into the sky with ease and wants to fly!! Unfortunately, it is not for the light of weight or strength. I had a difficult time bringing it back down from maybe 100 feet with a fishing reel type string mechanism. In fact, a younger friend of mine (45 years old) had to finish bringing it down because it didn't want to be reeled in. It is a great kite but for the young and strong. Thanks, Sandi

The media could not be loaded.  We love this kite!! It is so much fun! It's huge, so needs a strong wind, but it really gets going. It was a little too strong for my 4yo to handle. I misplaced the string it came with so I used some jute that we had.

This kite was fun, colorful, and so easy to get flying! I am not an avid kite enthusiast and don't claim to be a "professional". I'm more of an occasional flyer. I used this to teach a group of kids how to fly a kite for their first time and this one went up so easily and stayed flying so smoothly, they all got to have a turn flying it. If you are just getting started with kite flying or just fly every once in awhile on a windy afternoon this is a good kite for you! Glad I purchased this kite.

The kite immediately went up in the air. No more running getting exhausted and trying to hope the wind picks up the kite. As long as there's wind, the kite is flying high in the sky.

We got this to launch on a nice windy day. It was much easier than the other kite we also used that darted back and forth and crashed a lot. This one went up easy and looked great. It was heavy to pull down at the end of our kite flying experience. Both 9 and 10 year old were able to fly it but were discouraged about bringing it back down due to the effort.

This kite went to the beach with us a week ago. It was awesome. No real assembly, just tie the included string on and fly it. It was effortless to launch and nothing else on the beach looked or flew like it. It was a hit. Back in the the included storage bag for next year!

Light weight and packs well. Needs a fair bit of wind to fly due to its size. Flies at a lower angle than other kites but still quite fun.

It's huge and impressive. It pulls really hard! I ended up ordering a reel for it as the included string is hard to retract due to how much force it generates. It's beautiful!

It's great, need good wind.just be very careful that kite pulls and pulls hard you could hurt yourself. Love it.
