6" Inch Recessed Can Light Satin Nickel Silver Shower Trim with Clear Fresnel Lens Fits HALO ELCO JUNO

Used this in our remodel for our shower that we did last year. Really improved the looks of our old plastic white can light trim that we had there before. Definitely a lot better quality / looks than before.Didn't quite suck up tight like our old one - so we had to use a bead of silicone to make it fit right up to the tiles so that water / steam can't get in to the light / electrical portion.

I have this in a steam shower. I've ran the steam unit for long lengths of time then opened up the cover and no condensation is present in the can. The can is airtight too, but just wanted to see if this cover really was air tight as well. So far so good.

The item installed great. The finish, while considered satin, is closer to polished. Doesn't really match the satin nickel of the Halo products in the same room. The lens does not sit in/on a gasket so I'm wondering if over the long term we are going to get some moisture in the enclosure. Glad I went with a "damp" rated recessed can and wired it on a GFCI line.
