This hat is so stylish! I purchased it for a Kentucky Derby party and embellished it with a scarf, feathers, and clip-on flowers that coordinated with my dress.After the party I removed all the embellishments. It’ll definitely offer me lots of protection from the sun during my summer travels. I bought the medium/large and it fits well and is very comfortable without any adjustments being necessary.

The media could not be loaded. I'm not a hat person. This was my first sun hat. I absolutely love it! I kept the plastic shaping liner it came with, and packed around the hat in my luggage, so I wouldn't have to worry about shaping it when I arrived. I thought I might wear it once or twice, and I wore it almost every day in the summer heat of Venice and Tuscany, Italy. The size was perfect to keep out sun, but also looked great with sunglasses. The material and shape were fabulous quality. I mushed the sides around a lot, and they easily flipped back into position. I was cautious to protect the raised center crown. Most days it was 95F (35C), so my forehead definitely sweat; however, the hat is very light and breathable. The sides and back of my head where the hat touched didn't get mega hot or leave sweat bands.TIP: STYLE A PART-UP HAIRDO FIRST.I used about 10 hair pins (for the equivalent, relaxed effect of a barrette) to softly tuck my long bangs and the sides of my hair up/back. When removing the hat, only my short forehead bangs needed some tweaking to overcome "hat hair". The rest of my hair was surpringly untouched because of the raised center of the hat! This was a shock to me, and made it quite easy to wear or not wear the hat throughout the day.I'm going to buy a backup of this hat because it's a new fun addition to my wardrobe. I bought this hat to do double duty as decor and then afterward for its intended purpose as a sun hat. The fabric of the hat is nice. It’s not scratch and it doesn’t have spaces. It’s just a bit big for my head but that’s ok since I wear headbands a lot. It’s so pretty and has a nice wide brim. You can wear it to garden or you can wear it out. The ribbon dresses it up nicely. Excellent value.

I never leave reviews but had to leave one for this hat. I just returned from my very first cruise today and this hat SAVED me! I have very pale skin and am on medication that causes sun sensitivity so I was afraid my entire trip would consist of me hiding in the shade. This hat created my own shade! I have a big head and had no issues fitting. It went hiking with me. It went on several open air boat rides and the chin strap stayed put when I cinched it. It went swimming in the ocean. It got an entire strawberry daiquiri spilled on it and I thought it was wrecked until I went swimming in the ocean the next day and all of the red came off. It didn’t pack up super small to travel with but I just stuffed underwear around it. I do recommend getting a hat clip so you don’t have to carry it around when you are in stores and such. I will be buying a second one as a gardening hat. Oh just be aware that giant sunglasses do not fit well under this hat. Try out your regular ones at home so you don’t have to spend a billion dollars on cruise ship sunglasses that fit.

Love, love, love, this hat. So cute and provided great sun protection. I wore it on a cruise. The strap came in handy when walking on deck 17 on a windy day.

This hat was extremely cute I got a medium/large unfortunately my head is still to big. According to what was on their info about this project it should have been fine. I would just say if you have a lot of hair or hair is thick go up a size. They do have bands you can use to make it smaller.
