Do different colors/styles increase the "difficulty"? My dog needs something the will separate the food the most.
I have a Boston Terrier. Does this feeder work for brachycephalic breeds (pushed in snout)?
I have 2 large dogs and use elevated feeders. Can I get these that will fit in 3 qt. bowls?
How many cups of food does this bowl hold?

Keeps my dog busy and happy for a bit

This is an easy to manage enrichment item. Dog will easily figure it out without coaching. I have a 17 lb dog so put some kibble, a few small treats, a few tiny dollops of his wet food, sometimes a few smears of peanut butter in random places on the 3 trays. He loves it! He spins the trays licking and looking for the items. He keeps revisiting each level checking to be sure he didn't miss anything. Keeps him busy for about 15-20 minutes and he goes back to look again if I leave it on the floor. I usually pick it up so he isn't disappointed when its empty. It's a little noisy as he rotates the trays and if he paws at it but worthwhile to entertain and treat him occasionally. I've even sometimes feed him his whole kibble breakfast in the tray just as a change in routine for him.Seems pretty durable. Though he paws at it, I don't see any scratches or marks. It's heavy enough so my little guy can't pick it up or chew on it. I'm not sure if a bigger dog could though. I rinse it every few times so it isn't dirty, etc. So far, I'm impressed with it.

One dog loves it! Pretty easy to rinse clean, a bit hard to separate the layers imho. Sturdy, fun

I rinse it clean without taking it apart, using the wide spray on the kitchen sink, because I find it difficult to take apart and put back together without making a mess. The fastener clip is small and hard to manipulate. However it rinses off pretty easily, you just have to spin each layer. (Use the gentle or wide spray to avoid water going everywhere. It easily holds about one 13oz can of dogfood. It takes about half a can to fill it enough to make it worth the dog's time imho. My 23lb corgi mix loves it. She can focuses on getting every lick out of every layer, and keeps her busy a while. It has helped her tremendously slow down on her meals and also provides enrichment and entertainment. 13 lb chihuahua mix is less thorough, he grabs what he can easily get, and cries for a refill! 10lb rescue chihuahua mix did not understand it at all and is much more toy motivated than food motivated, but he is a picky eater and did not need slowing down. So, for the purpose intended, slow down my vacuum-corgi mix dog, it's worked fantastic, and she also enjoys playing with it. Good for a dog who likes a challenge, or eats way too fast. I love that it doesn't tip over, she hasn't flipped it over yet with daily use. I've used it with both small dry kibble and wet food, works fine with both. It's easy to smear canned food onto it even if you don't take the layers apart. Doesn't need to be perfect, she's happy, I'm happy

Good puzzle but not sturdy. Dog does enjoy it.

I have a 15 pound small dog with lots of energy. We have gotten many dog puzzles fromOutward hound (own at least 4 of them). The challenge slider: This one is less sturdy than the others. The second time my dog used it and she broke out the pieces and I had to put them all back in together. Not sure how it will hold up in the future. She’s done it now about four times and only broke out the pieces once. I will say my dog is not physically aggressive she did scratch at it to make the pieces move but I don’t feel that she is a very aggressive and her approach on these puzzles she’s not a chew her either. I will say that her nails weren’t groomed at the time so perhaps that led to her getting grip to be able to like rip them upwards and out. Overall I’ve been very happy with the outward hound puzzle products. I like how quick and easy this one was to load compared to some of the others. You can pull out the tray and fill all the treats at one time. Not sure I would buy again just because I have some questions on sturdiness. As far as engaging her, it definitely does the job.The brick:This one is a favorite and my dog has mastered it. She just did it 20 times. I will set the little door flops have separated several times and I’ve clicked them back in okay. Wondered if it will hold up in the future. But it was worth the money. The casino:This is another favorite. I find that I have to lock every other one still even after like 10 times. Or she gets too frustrated. I do like that option that I can slowly lock more and more of them I find if I like them all she just gives up after a while at this point. I would recommend. The twister:That’s why I’m struggling on how to teach my dog to twist the bones to get them to be recessed to get the drawers pulled out. She pulls the drawers out fine if I leave them in the unlocked position. Not sure how this one’s gonna end up working out. She loses interest because she can’t get the doors to open and I’m struggling again to teach her how to twist the bones around. It’s just not clicking. Would not buy again. The treat tumble small:I recommend this one. I do it when she kinda is driving me crazy and I’ll just put her food in it for the day and make her work a little for it.

Great for smart active young dogs.

I got this for a 7 month old puppy I was fostering, 50 pounds, mixed breed and it was perfect! He just flipped the slow feeders, but needed one, he ate too fast and got the hick-ups. This was the best solution. Food crumbs get under the bottom, but it's easy to clean. My only concern is that a stronger dog could probably break the clear plastic lid part? And it gets scratched by their nails ( this puppy had short nails and it still scratched it), so eventually it will be cloudy, but I am not sure the dog cares about a crystal clear view of the food inside!I would buy it again. The dog was VERY clever and this was a fun way to feed him. He solved other complex outward hound games, this was just for a fun, slow feeding time. Its quiet, and a good value for the money.
