I purchased 10 bags as an anonymous donation to a local Humane Society. They could ask for any dry food for dogs, and they selected this brand. That has got to say quite a bit for the product, because you know they care tremendously about the dogs in their care. I thought the price was reasonable. Would have been nice if there was a program to lower the cost for bulk purchases that are donations, but, not sure how they'd be sure it was legit. Anyway, my point is that if you're looking for quality dog food, at a reasonable price, you can safely purchase this and know it was recommended by a Humane Society.

My big dog absolutely loves this Pedigree dog food! It provides the complete nutrition he needs to stay healthy and energetic. The kibble size is perfect for large breeds, and I’ve noticed an improvement in his coat and digestion since switching to this brand. It’s also budget-friendly without compromising on quality. Highly recommend for big dog owners!

Great product & price but not always available. This food seems to be one of the best for my German Shepherd, but it's not always available for our subscription order. I've substituted the beef version, but the dog seems to have skin allergy issues with that one.

This is awesome for large dogs,absolutely awesome! I have several GSDs and they gobble their food within seconds,mainly just swallowing their food,when they're eating the normal size. But this, where has it been all these years? My dogs actually like it but to watch them have to actually chew their food,working their jaws,cleaning their teeth and allowing their stomach to actually digest their food the proper way, is great! Granted, I do add a whole egg (shell and all and from the farmers,not store bought) or raw milk or some fresh raw meat or raw fruit (strawberry, blueberry, peach,banana etc) to it periodically to help aid a balance in their diet, I do make sure its blended in their food though to prevent from being 'picky' eaters and to give a bit of a different flavor so it's always something to look forward to. Love these big chunks, thank you!

Great larger chunks of dog food for my big baby. No more teeny tiny dry food she can barely chew but has to just swallow whole. seriously!My dog likes the taste and the larger chunks actually help keep her teeth cleaner. And she enjoys sneaking into the larger bag to eat right out of it!! :)I am so pleased with this product and how healthy it is for my dog and her teeth.Plus it's not expensive product and she is a healthy active 5K walker dog!!Highly recommend this for your bigger dogs.

This dog food is a great deal if you don't have a picky dog, but otherwise it's just okay. I buy it whenever money is tight because it's the cheapest I've found and it's a huge amount, but the pieces are really large and a bit harder than your average kibble. I have a 54 pound, 12-year-old husky mix with pretty bad teeth (her past owners were neglectful and abusive) and it seems to be a bit difficult for her to chew. I usually mix it with soft food or beef broth to soften it up, but she refuses to eat it otherwise. She's a pretty picky eater with all dry foods, but she has actually gone on a few full-day hunger strikes with this one. It must be some kind of nasty!I'd only recommend this if your dog has good teeth, is actually a large breed, and will eat anything you put in their bowl. In that case, it's a great value, even if it isn't the healthiest stuff ever--it is a super cheap Pedigree, after all... But I doubt anyone was expecting the pinnacle of nutrition from a $13 massive bag of dog food.
