Really works
Have a 2006 Ford 6.0. About to be driving cross country, and thought it would be a good idea. Fitment was solid, had to modify the power steering cooler bracket a little bit but that was it. Personally, I saw a 20 to 30° decrease in transmission fluid temps. Mishimoto performing as always! Everything included is pictured in my photos.

Early truck mods needed.
Be aware that on the early trucks, like a 99 f250 super duty, u will have to remove and modify 2 cross braces. The braces run where the new cooler will be. I removed the braces and cut them down to about 5 inches so they clear the new cooler. If u do that, u will lose the upper mounting location it previously attached to. The new cooler is adequately secured by the lower mounts, which work great, and 1 bolt on each side of the cut braces. At that point, all the braces really need to do is prevent upward motion. All in all, a great product. There are the cheaper factory replacement 6.0 coolers, but even that cooler can at times be lacking for towing. That is why I went this route to be done with it. But u can get the factory replacement cooler for half, or less, than what the mishimoto costs, if u want.

Cooled my Trans way down!
I installed this on my 2001 F-350 7.3. First I installed a trans temp gauge to see where the temps were without the Mishimoto. I was running at 195 degrees empty for an hour drive around town at about 90 degree outside temp at night. After the Mishimoto install my temp only got up to 150 degrees. Even pulling my 8,500 trailer it stays at 150 (until I hit hills which previously over heated my trans) the highest temp I've seen so far on a three day camping weekend in 100 degree temps climbing to 9,000 plus feet in Utah is a mere 165 degrees! This will save your 4R100 or any other trans. Highly recommended.

Installed on a 2003 F250 4 hour job to do ...
Installed on a 2003 F250 4 hour job to do everything. All you need is 7 feet of 1/2 inch tranny hose, 2 1/2 to 3/8 barbed splices, and 2 90 degree elbows to U turn the tranny hose coming out of the radiation cooler. Do not need to pass though radiator again just zip tie to bottom of frame. Frame is protected by the bumper so no worry. Just wrap the hose with a protective cover so your fastening device doesn't wear though the hose. Do not need longer bolts or cutting. Unbolting the AC condenser helps out a lot with room. Remember to find something to plug all of the 3/8 inch holes unless you want a mess. Need 4.

Preforms exactly as it states.
I ordered this for 2005 F250. Living in extream heat this unit definitely makes a difference when towing the 5th wheel. Between this and the extra large high cap trans pan I put on no matter how hard I push the truck the trans never sees temps over 205°. I did have to shim out to top of the unit so it didn't rub on my radiator but other than install was a breeze.

Pretty easy install
Installed on 2000 f350, fit well, but did require trimming off of the upper brackets. Pretty easy install.UPDATE:100% best upgrade for 2000-2003 era Ford. The tiny transmission cooler from the factory is way too small. Documented difference while towing of around 50 degree temperature drop. Monitoring the TFT from the ODB2 port saw over 200F after pulling 9000lb trailer for about an hour on highway - this was with stock cooler. With the Mishmoto cooler regularly ran 150F driving same trailer to Louisville from Cincinnati. Peak temperature saw was while pulling steep hills in 20-30 MPH range (torque convert not locked) and peak at around 170F.

Fit isn't perfect but good enough
Put this in my 2002 f-250 7.3. You definetly need hose and barbs. Fit isn't perfect but good enough. Made an outstanding different. I tow my 34 foot fifth wheel toy hauler with a side by side and two dirt bikes. Doesn't get hot unless stepping on it on an uphill grade. Mag-tec oversized tranny pan is in the mail on its way now. Should be a great match with this cooler to keep that 4r100 cool.

Pay attention to your power steering cooler
Won’t work if you have the high mounted power steering cooler. You have to buy a relocation kit to move it down below.
