Purchased after nub in-laws raved about these. The only ones that STAY put on the couch, I stead of constantly slouching down the back or bunching up. The backs go far down OVER the back of the couch as a counterweight to stay put. Super soft velvety feel on top - comfy for humans and pups. Really protects furniture - even with big dogs. Best is I can machine wash! Bought a matching loveseat size as well. Love the gray color. (Tried the Sable color, but it was too gold & shiny for me)

This fits my large black leather chair with very wide round arms perfectly. It is so hard to find a cover to fit a chair that is large . . .OMG, it fits like a glove! I purchased the Sure Fit grips to hold the back of the cover in place and the grips work great so far? I do not use the grips for the sides of the cover because they don't give you enough material to tuck it in or it could just be the large arms on my chair. The gorgeous color burgundy is perfect and it is a lovely thick velvet texture. Leather can be cold to the touch and sometimes hot to the touch depending on the weather. The cover feels so luxurious to sit down on it. I have cats and the cover protects the leather where my cats jump on the chair instead of buying a bulky large chair slip cover and hiding the beautiful leather chair. I am going to buy another one to store it away for when this one wears out for the price on Amazon is a steal!****************************************************************************************Update 3 months later.. . . The material is holding up through many washings and looks as good as the day I purchased it. The problem is it does not stay put even with Sure Fit furniture grips. It works for a few sitting and then it starts to slip again . . . UGH! Could be because the chair is leather and leather is slippery as other reviews have stated with this same problem. I have even tried tucking two grips on top of each other in the back of the chair but I am still constantly adjusting it again. Kinda irritating, but this is the prettiest and the best well made cover I have found yet so I am going to put up with it.. .. after all I did buy two covers. I alternate when one needs to be washed!

UPDATE ON PRODUCT: SUREFIT IS A GREAT COMMPANY! I contacted the Surefit company about the fact that my 2 covers (one size large, other size love seat) did not match, even though they were both Ivory. This mattered because our sofa is a sectional, so the two pieces butt up to each other. Surefit was absolutely great--they sent me 2 covers at the same time that they had matched as best as they could at their company. I have now had the covers for a couple of months, and they hold up beautifully. They don't seem to get dirt stains on them, even though mine are Ivory in color and you'd think Ivory would really show the stains--but the covers stay clean-looking for a long time. I think it's because they are waterproof, so the dirt dries and then brushes off rather than soaks in. They wash beautifully, too.I was worried when I found out my daughter washed one of the covers without my knowledge in (regular) warm/hot water and then dried it on the regular setting, which also gets pretty hot, because the directions say to wash it in cool water and dry it low. She did this because the dog threw up on one of covers when I wasn't home so it was an emergency situation. But the cover wsshed and dried beautifully. It came out looking great. Surefit has been great, and I highly recommend these durable, attractive sofa covers for owners of active, muddy-pawed, occasionally-throwing-up-on-the-sofa kinds of dogs.But the best thing about these covers is that they really do protect the sofa fabric. That means I can enjoy having my dog cuddle up next to me on the sofa without having to worry about the sofa getting destroyed.OLD REVIEW:This is a great product and I recommend it, but here's the problem I ran into: I purchased the Ivory colored love seat sofa cover about a month earlier, and I love it. I then ordered the same cover, also in the Ivory color, in the full sofa size (we have a sectional sofa, one section full size and one love seat size). However, the shades of Ivory differ noticeably between the two pieces, and I don't know what to do about it. The ivory color of the love seat cover is a warm ivory that is compatible with my sofa fabric. However, the ivory color of the full sofa cover is noticeably lighter and is not compatible with my sofa, and I don't know what to do about it.[...Surefit Company resolved the above problem by mailing me matching covers]. Great company! Great sofa covers!

My sister had one of these and I had to get one. It fits perfectly on your couch and works great. Washes well and doesn’t shrink and helps to keep your couch clean.

When I saw the price of this on Amazon, I bought it immediately. It was half the price of Macys (on sale). These are thick and soft and look great. The back of the couch (other side) is completely covered. My new lighter brown one is bigger than the couch but I can tuck extra fabric into the back under the cushions and into the armrest area. These would be 110% if they had a non slip back but there are stabilizers you can buy if needed. I just fix it up every night. I did not buy one with a strap. The off white had been on the couch for two years and washed weekly. It could have stayed but started to look a little older so I replaced when I saw the price. This brown one has a little sheen to it. It is so soft and so smooth and silky. I needed a color to hide brown dog hair this time :). I can even run my cordless Dyson over the cover to pick up hair. The best!

This is a very good quality material and it washes very well. It is thick and I am confident that spills won't go through it. The problem with this product, as with other couch covers that I have purchased, is that I am always having to adjust it after I sit on the couch no matter how careful I am . I am now using a set of sheets placed on the couch (there are videos on line to show you how) that is working much better for me , looks nice and is a lot less expensive. They are easy to put on and wash and they stay put much better than any couch cover I have ever tried. (I do put towels over the cushions and under the sheets when I feel my dogs will be on the couch a lot since the sheets will not absorb a great deal of dirt or spills).

The pattern, the feel and the fit are great!
