We bought three but hung two given size of island. Good thing too, as we had to catabolize one light fixture, and a rod since one of the others would only loosely screwed together, and fixture, and rod both hung wonky-eye. We missed the 30day return window. None of the rods were easy to screw together, and attempts to even out the lights by cutting one rod on both ends, and shortening connector did not work; Rods would not lock once screwed together. Generally speaking rod based pendant lights on a sloped ceiling are not really worth the trouble. If it were to work, there would need to be additional rod adaptors in 1"-5". Go with corded pendant light.

This is a beautiful lamp. I bought 2 for over my peninsula. Installing was a bit of a challenge especially if installing to replace existing light. It probably is easier with new installation, neverless it is beautiful. Just the right size. I used 1 rod and it was just right. I also use an led bulb that gives great light.

I bought this for my kitchen nook in my home. The person before me painted the space red. And instead of the struggle of painting over red, I bought this lamp to brighten the space. It's a little smaller than I had assumed, but I also did not read the demensions. Regardless it works well in my space.My favorite part is joint that lets you angle the light. I have cathedral ceilings, and what goes up must eventually come down. So the ceiling is at an angle in the nook. But with the moveable joint it goes straight down centering with the table. I also put a daylight bright LED bulb inside. This could easily work well for interrogations or if you buy multiple look nice over a bar area.As for installation, my husband had no issues. Remember to turn your breaker. Messing with wires will shock the crap out of you.

My light arrived in perfect condition and just as it appeared online. It goes beautifully in my kitchen. It was not what I really wanted but my husband didn't like the open round kind of lighting that I liked so I compromised. The complaints that I have, have nothing to do with the quality of the product. It should have been bigger for the space and it should be on it's own switch. When I dim the very bright overhead lights, this dims to nothing because you can only have a 30 watt bulb. I never noticed that in the description. It is a nice simple light with clean lines.

The lights arrived quickly, and I was able to install them easily. They were replacements for two lights that I no longer liked, so it was just a mater of removing the old and wiring in the new. The screws holding the outer base to the bracket were to long, and I couldn't adjust them because the plastic box in my ceiling was in the way. I never throw spare parts away, so I quickly found screws that were the perfect length in my collection. The lights look great, work great, so are , of course, great!
