Perfect colors gor the guest bedroom
I like I however I took off one star because the bed covering was not fluffy like it was shown in the pictures. I always know coloring may be off however the description shown of item mislead the fluffiness.

Nice set but very "loose"
This set is very beautiful, I love the colors and the material the top of the set is made with. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the actual comforter itself. It's very... for lack of a better word, loose. Before I purchased this, I had read another review stating a similar fact but decided to go ahead and order it anyway, thinking that maybe the issue wouldn't have been such a big deal to me and while it turns out to NOT be a deal-breaker, it does take away from me giving this a full five-star review. If you're curious as to what I mean by "loose," the best way I can describe it is to compare it to loose skin. When you pinch the top of the comforter and pull it upwards, only the "skin" of the blanket is pulled up with it and not the innards of the blanket. The looseness of the blanket adds additional time to the normal time it'd take to make the bed in the morning. I am considering buying a down comforter to fill the blanket with as I think it could potentially eliminate the looseness issue. The plus side of the blanket's looseness compared to one that's tighter or more full, is the fact that this blanket could be used in warmer climate than you'd expect to use with a normal comforter but since I have other blankets for those warmer temperatures, that really isn't a plus for me. If I do decide to purchase a down comforter to fill this one with, I will post another update as to whether or not it alleviated the problem with its looseness. As far as comfort goes, I think it's 50/50. The material on the bottom-side of the comforter paired with the looseness of it as a whole, gives it a sheet-with-a-comforter-on-top kind of feel. I personally do not care for using a sheet at all as I sleep except for the one that's hugging the bed beneath me; I strictly only stick to using comforters to cover me. So the sheet feeling it gives me is not preferable but it's not something I can't live with either. It definitely feels though, that you're sleeping with a silky type sheet on top of you and then a comforter on top of that. Not bad - but not great.Per someone else's review, I decided to purchase the king-size set for my queen-size bed to avoid a possible length issue with the queen comforter and I definitely don't see an problem with doing that except for a couple minor obstacles. The bed skirt obviously needed some adjusting which was expected due to the size difference and I had to order two king-size pillows to fit the included pillow cases. Spent an extra $20.00 on the pillows (also ordered from Amazon) but not a big deal for me. Just glad to have averted a length insufficiency with the comforter.I have not yet washed the comforter but do love the ability to remove the innards of the blanket to make it easier to wash. I will post another update once I have crossed that bridge. All in all, I would say that I am 80% happy with this set. I cannot overemphasize the beauty of it and the softness of the outer material.

Works for us, but not for everyone.
I was a little worried about ordering this because some previous reviews said the colors were "off", with the maroon being more a flat red, and so forth. Consequently, I was thrilled when the colors were a perfect match to the picture, giving it a really nice, rich look. The reason I only rate it 3 star is because some people will not like the 'thinness' of it, nor the material it is made of, but for us here in Florida, it is perfect. It's plenty warm for a Florida winter and not so hot in the summer that we have to completely remove it from the bed - we can just fold it to the bottom third. Plus I prefer a comforter that contains the heat, rather than one that is breathable, while many prefer a breathable cotton so they don't overheat. It's all a matter of preference. The one complaint I would have that is applicable to anyone is that I've noticed the panels hanging down the end of the bed are lumping up at the bottom, as if the stuffing inside is falling into a heap with the weight of gravity. I have to lift the end up and shake it and manipulate the filler to get it back in shape and that should never happen in a properly-made set. Also, in reading other reviews, people commented that the queen comforter was smaller than they would like and that ordering a California King fit better. That part is true, but what they failed to mention is that ordering a Ca. King makes the skirted piece and the pillowcases much too big to be used. That was disappointing and I hadn't thought about that part of it when ordering.

Buy a King for a Queen Sized Bed
I bought a size too big and I'm so glad I did!I hadn't saved this to my wish list, so when I did a search, I saw two sizes -- the queen was more expensive and had more expensive shipping.I have Amazon Prime so was going to give up because of the cost of shipping, but when I looked at all the other comforter sets I was interested in, this design still won out.It was also much less expensive than the ones I didn't like as much -- even when factoring shipping costs. The reviews for the queen size version had a few complaints that the size wasn't really big enough for a queen. One commenter said she bought the king sized version and it fit perfectly.Between the price difference and that reviewer's remarks, I bought the king sized comforter for my queen sized bed.It fits, without much extra, so if you have a king size bed this might not be the comforter for you since there's no super size option for you!If you have a queen and get the king, you may need to buy extra pillows. I had a bunch of queen sized pillows but they just didn't fill out the pillowcases well. I ordered Dream Supreme Plus Gel Fiber-Filled Pillows, Standard (Set of 2) and they completed the set.The throw pillows and neck pillow are perfectly fine for display but if you're like me, you want real pillows and lots of 'em.I'm very happy with this comforter -- it looks great. If you don't have a box spring (I don't), the bed skirt will be useless.Unlike the other commenter, I think the thickness is perfect -- but I live in Southern California and so I just need something warm but not heavy or thick as I did on the east coast. This is more of a decorative comforter that doubles as a pleasant blanket.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed this item is too thin and also did not fit a queen size bed well at all. Also did not like its appearance compared to the photo in the AD
