Amazon Brand – Pinzon Paris Printed Egyptian Cotton Sateen Duvet Set - King, Light Gray

First, besides LOVING this duvet set, I must say that the color of this duvet is a bit darker than depicted in the latter two of four pics shown. It definitely has the pattern and is identical to what is in the first two photos, as well as the two photos in the description. Online, It looked more of an ivory to me which is why I purchased it. And in real life, it actually looks like a warm creme color with a light tan pattern. Still very pretty, but not feminine. I have the new retina iPad so I think the photos are probably being viewed with correct lighting. It is still super nice and I'm in love with this duvet!Second, now that I have it and slept with it on our bed- I am hooked!!!! I kid you not, I slept better than I ever have. I woke up thinking- wow!!!! I love this duvet cover!!! It's not super soft and cuddly, it just has a luxurious, quality feel that someway, somehow, made my sheets even feel better!I know it sounds nuts, but I think the weight of the duvet cover kept my comforter held down in place and hence keeping my sheets closer to my body. This is not a heavy cover, it is perfect. It's lightweight but yet has a heavy feel without making you extra warm. Im heat intolerant, yet this keeps me warm but still cool enough that I'm so comfortable!! It's as if it retains the heat in your blankets without making you warm, it is just about perfect.(My cotton sheets are nice but I've had them for five years and never did I wake up feeling this relaxed! Didn't have anything to do with my sheets ;) This duvet cover just has some type of quality, luxury feel to it that is amazing when you sleep in it.There was nothing different in my sleep routine other than having this duvet cover on my down comforter. Love it!!Third, I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will turn out. Based on other reviews, I expect somewhat wrinkly but that's expected for 100% cotton. And if it holds up like it feels now, you will love this duvet set!! Pillowcases fit our king pillows perfectly. I even had pillowcases under the shams and they still fit great. And you can't see through them either.Fourth, the size is just right. We have a California king bed with only a king comforter. I was concerned this set would be too big and look all sloppy with the extra material. But sure enough, it falls so nicely you can't even tell where the comforter is inside. And it doesn't shift at all!! No ties, and not needed anyway. Have I mentioned I am super picky, and this set has won me over? It has.Last, kudos if you've even read this far, I am considering returning it- can't believe it myself. I haven't yet, but I'm really looking for a brighter color of this eggshell/creme/ivory shade.So I ordered the Pinzon Pleated Hem 100 Percent Egyptian Cotton 400-Thread Count Duvet Set in the Parchment color.  Pinzon Pleated Hem 400-Thread-Count 100% Egyptian Cotton King Duvet Set, Mocha That set looked like the color was more of what I wanted. But upon receiving it today, the color is more like a mauve than a parchment paper color as depicted. Color in that set is a much bigger difference than I have mentioned with this set, that I'm evidently in love with ;). I didn't take the second one out of the packaging but could feel the same excellent quality I have in this current duvet.Granted, my husband (who is outta town at the mo) would have no clue as to the different shades of ivory I'm referring to, but I know he will love how it feels and looks too. When he gets home, he will probably just say, "that looks nice, is something different?" But once he sleeps in it, I know he won't be able to deny how great it feels. Like a warm, cool cover that hugs you without smothering you. Just awesome!!!I suppose Pinzon quality is the same with their products, I have two now. One has to go back when I sort out my duvet drama. But both are beautiful, high quality. Hope this helps someone that is as picky as me so when you know, you know. I love this one so much and it feels better than it looks. And it looks pretty nice.Hope you sleep as well and reading others' reviews, seems many people love this set too!! I’ll start by saying I’m a designer & very VERY picky about my bedding. I normally only buy brands I’m familiar with, but I gave this a try (along with 4 other duvet covers that are all being returned for poor quality).This one is GREAT. Nice stitching, quality fabric, very smooth & good feel to the fabric. It’s a silky feel — not a stiff crispy cotton percale (which is also great...but I like a variety of fabrics and this has a nice drape and hand I have not washed or used yet, so will update the review on how well it comes out of the washer.If you use a duvet cover as the only topper (no flat sheet) — I think this would be great next to the skin, too.Good value for the price.

I love this duvet cover. After 3 years of sleeping with just the duvet, no top sheet, and washing every couple weeks, it’s held up beautifully, with minimal pilling, if any. The only thing I would change is the way the buttons close at the bottom. The buttons are clear plastic, not decorative, yet the design has the buttons facing the outside, not the inside. [ETA: not true, my mistake, but even with the buttons facing inward, there’s an unsightly gap] Also, if you don’t iron the placket, the cover will gap and show the duvet underneath. Turning the duvet over hides both these problems, of course, but then toes will catch if you’re sleeping without a top sheet. All in all, though, it’s been a great buy. I love the look and enjoy climbing under the soft cover each night.

I am so glad I read the reviews when purchasing sight / touch unseen. I have had this duvet cover for a couple of months now and am blown away every time I walk in my room. This is the first time I've found a cover that didn't wrinkle or look tacky as time went on. It's not too heavy to sleep under - and for my needs the color was spot on - I did things backwards and painted my walls first but once I saw / touched this cover I was willing to repaint just to be able to keep it - so glad I didn't have to! An update: My dog tore up my grey cover and I took out a quilt I had in the closet repainted my room (I tend to change things up often) to match and really didn't like the quilt so went to re-order this again. I realized the cream color might work with the paint I had so even though I liked the grey better decided to order the cream - I am in love all over again. I really like the clean, crisp color and it is the same great material that gives such elegance to my room. I would still highly recommend this duvet cover.

I needed a duvet cover for a room that had curtains in a big, splashy print in a color that I wasn't really wild about. It was in my mom's old bedroom that I inherited. (They were thick, lined, pinch-pleated drapes that provided excellent insulation and light control and I wasn't able to replace them immediately.) This cover works perfectly. The simple print and neutral colors blend with the splashy drapes just fine. In fact, I think the cover tones down the effect of the drapes. The fabric is very soft, unlike many duvet covers I have seen. It is as soft as my sheets. It has an envelope-style opening and the buttons are large and well-sewn. All the buttonholes are the correct size and were cut open accurately. The size is perfect for my oversized king comforter. The fabric is not slippery so the comforter stays put. I do wish someone would come up with a uniform way to hold the corners of the comforter in place. This cover didn't have ties, clips or anything to do this so I just used safety pins. so comfy i slept in and was late for work ...everyday for 2 weeks. i lost my job over this amazing blanket, because i am jobless my wife left me and took our dog, i am down to my last can of baked beans......oh well at least she left me this sweet blanket so i can wrap my self in it and forget about the pain. 5 stars for blanket 0 stars for life.

Si tuviera mas dinero me compraba otros 2 jajaja, suave al tacto, perfecto para descansar en cama, se vé super elegante, nadamas tengan en cuenta que es solo funda para edredón y viene con 2 fundas para almohada. Si es caro, pero un lujo que vale la pena para mi al llegar a casa después de un día agotador de trabajo.

I am impressive with the quality and all the details of the cover. The fabric is nice and soft and it won't get damage like the microfiber one as my cats like to put the paw and nails on it. The stitches are very good and it has the stripes that you can tide the 4 corners of the quilt that it won't move around within. It's the best quality duvet cover I ever have.

Para los que piensan que es un edredón, no lo es. Es una funda para un edredon, tipo sabana.

Para aquellos que se molestan porque no es un edredón, tienen que leer bien la descripción... ES UNA FUNDA PARA EDREDÓN. Excelente calidad, queda un poco grande con edredones matrimoniales pero perfectos con Queen Size. Sin duda lo volvería a comprar!
