Bloo In Cistern Twin Blocks Bleach with Long Lasting Anti-Limescale Cleaning, Foaming & Clear Water, 20 pack

The product lifetime does not depend on tablet visibility as mentioned, while the tabs break up quickly the sediment remains + at least if not the misinformation that concerns me here, from with my subjective experience, the foaming continues.NB each tab lasts 4 wks not 8 !!! (2 tabs = 8 wks)

Never thought I would get so excited about a clean loo. But I did. The scent is there not not overwhelming like the blue one. Just some bubbles in the pan and a faint smell of bleach but not much.I will def be using these again. They are great.Review edited as certainly didn’t last 8 weeks, more like 2-3 but still worth it and will keep buying. Toilet still needs cleaning regularly but certainly not daily like before

You have to remember that "Up to 8 weeks" also includes anything from zero to eight...BUT two weeks isn't the best performance in the world! However, the cistern is now missing a LOT of the limescale that was there before I put the block in, and the toilet does look a lot cleaner, and it certainly seems to flush better. What it smells like I couldn't tell you, I lost my sense of smell several years ago following a respiratory infection.On the downside, there is a sludgy residue left in the cistern, and from 30+ years in property maintenance, I know that it can sometimes cause the siphon to block if it gets sucked in.EDIT: One thing I didn't note when I wrote the above, is that the packaging does say that the WHOLE pack lasts up to 8 weeks, so I have revised my star rating on the basis that each block lasted 50% of the claimed time, not 25% as I had at first thought.

These are lovely & foam up when toilet is flushed, you can smell the bleach but its not overwhelming which is nice. Great price too, I got two packs!!

Good to have an 'automatic' system of adding bleach into the lavatory cistern.I expected the bleach block to last a bit longer but it is always going to be a trade off and depends on the frequency of flushes and the amount of bleach delivered into the cistern's tank.I'm not going to go into solubility coefficients vs time etc but as I wrote, it is always a trade-off.The more flushing, the less concentration of bleach dissolving.A fair price but could be cheaper, hence the stars.PS When I have the time and inclination, I lift the cistern lid off, and squirt a measure of neat concentrated bleach from my bleach bottle - that works well but takes a little time, a little effort and there's always a risk of a drop of bleach falling somewhere it shouldn't.I may buy again...

I love these and at £1.50 for 2 I think they are well worth buying. with every flush you get a nice light smell of bleach. I know some people don't like the smell of bleach and if that is you then I would suggest these are not for you. I am very pleased with them, I will recommend to friends and will be buying them again.

Bought for my outside/garage loo as there was a problem with the mosquitoes. Soon sorted it but they did not last that long as the toilet is not flushed that often and the blocks dissolved.Ok if you don't mind the smell of bleach.

This is the only effective, bleach based, in cistern cleaner I have found I’ve tried the ones that turn the water a different colour, but they do not keep the loo clean.This is a very effective product and I highly recommended it.
