Love my energel pens. I keep 2 pens and just buy the refills for them. They have great grip and seem to last a good long while. They write smooth and fine. Especially great for someone dealing with carpel tunnel. Easy on the hands.

It’s a perfect option for your empty TUL needle point pens. Ink flows smoothly and it doesn’t blob out onto the paper. I saved my pen casings/shells hoping I would eventually find refills. Pentel makes great pens, too. Highly recommend.

Perfection; these are the best! I purchase these regularly throughout the year. I'm a heavy handed writer & don't like fine lines at all. I equate this to a #2 pencil. Smooth, solid flow.

Buying refills is much better for the environment than buying new pens when the ink runs out. I would have given these five stars if the price were a bit lower.

I switched to purple gel ink pens at work. For medical records, we have to use blue or black ink. With these purple ink pens, nobody has fussed and nothing I turned in has been rejected. Plus... I feel the need to stand out from time to time.So... looking for a purple ink pens. I've tried the Bic Inkjoys (which are very good but not as good as the Pentel gel inks) and various other brands including a Montblanc Beatles version purple but the Pentels write the best (smooth and easy flowing). Because gel ink gets used much faster, I bought this box of 12 refilles (0.7 mm - don't like the thinner 0.5 mm version but that's personal taste and preference) and it was much cheaper this way. I have three different versions of the Pentel gel ink pens and use these for all three of them. But my friends and colleagues know who wrote what once they see the paperwork and the ink.In this world of ours... it's good to stand out sometimes.

Refills are very cost efficient when you already have a Pentel pen and just need the ink refill. The ink dries fast and does not smear (it highlights this is a plus for left-handed writers). Not sure if the ink is wash/water resistant to prevent fraud, so keep that in mind.
