- DESCRIPTION DETAILS FACTS DIRECTIONS WARNINGS Loctite Stik'n Seal Extreme Conditions contains the revolutionary new Flextec formulation which bonds more surfaces faster than ordinary household adhesives. It is a versatile, heat resistant adhesive that bonds, seals and repairs almost all materials. It is ideal for bonds subject to harsh or extreme conditions or for situations where constant flexing is a problem. It can be used indoors and outdoors, has excellent adhesion and high initial grab that cures quickly. It has an excellent resistance to weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone, UV and extreme temperatures, creating long outdoor reliability. Recommended For Bonding glass, mirror, ceramic, leather, fabric, many plastics, wood, concrete, stone and metal-to-porous surfaces Many types of hobbies and crafts Sealing or repairing door frames, windows, vents, toys, appliances, kets, weather-stripping, boats and cars Dishwasher safe One surface should be porous Not Recommended For Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plastics, metal-to-metal (one surface should be porous) or rubber Applications requiring solvent resistance Applications requiring service temperatures below -58F (-50C) and above 248F (120C) Aquariums or potable water systems Archival applications Applications with prolonged water immersion Package Description: 0.58 fl. oz. (17 g) Serving Size: .. Number of Servings: .. Feature Benefit Extreme temperature resistance All-season use Water resistant Indoor and outdoor use No cracking, peeling or shrinking One-time application Gap filling Excellent for imperfect surfaces Flexible bonds Flexes with other materials Safety PrecautionsWell-ventilated area, gloves. Preparation Use between 41F (5C) and 104F (40C). Protect work area. Surfaces must be clean and free of grease, dust and other contaminants. For improved adhesion, roughen very smooth surfaces prior to cleaning. Remove cap. Puncture inner seal with reverse side of cap. ApplicationApply thin layer of adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded and wait 3 - 4 minutes until adhesive is tacky. Carefully assemble parts, pressing both surfaces firmly together. For difficult bonds, clamp parts or use tape to hold pieces together. Do not move or use parts for at least 2 hours. Full bond strength is achieved in 24 hours. Cure times will increase with lower temperatures and humidity and if bonding two non-porous surfaces. CleanupClean tools and adhesive residue immediately with mineral spirits. Cured adhesive may be carefully cut away using a sharp-edged tool. Safety Precautions Well-ventilated area, gloves. Not Recommended For Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plastics, metal-to-metal (one surface should be porous) or rubber Applications requiring solvent resistance Applications requiring service temperatures below -58F (-50C) and above 248F (120C) Aquariums or potable water systems Archival applications Applications with prolonged water immersion.
