Absolutely works perfect for my needs.
Wasn't super confident in what to expect with this lift given the nature of internet purchases these days. But so far, I've been very happy with the performance and sturdiness of this jack. I'm using it to work on a HD XLH883. The "saddles" are adjustable to accommodate the width across the frame, and individually adjustable for height to ensure the motorcycle is plumb on a not-so-level garage floor or work table. Nonetheless I keep the bike tied down to my work table for safety. For me it has proven to be an invaluable tool working on bikes with lower frame rails and no center stand!

Fits Honda Shadow VT1100c
Shadow's engine bottom pans are lower than frame and w/o center stand lifting rear or front tires is a sketchy proposition. Yes, one can build 2x4" stack to lift squarely & safely however, if it's necessary to adjust height this lift is a very affordable & safe alternative. I recommend raising high enough to place jack stands for add'l safety. 17" Max Ht is more than enough. @~ 9" my Rear tire dropped & rolled out no problem. I used my hydraulic car jack to easily slide the axle out then lower & lift back tire. My only issue is finding bike center of gravity to balance & lift front & back safely. Other than that, I'm really happy w/ this scissor lift. Good value, too.

Great product overall but could be a bit better for not so much more money.
I like this product it feels heavy duty the one thing I do not like is the bolts as they look and feel very low quality. I will be replacing them with American made bolts. It does say 1100 pounds but I can tell you I would not bet my life on it just because of the bolts them selves. It will probably cost me about $5 to get them replaced which I would gladly have paid more for if it had already came with quality bolts.

One great little lift!
This is really a nice solid little lift. I am using this in conjunction with my hydraulic jack for lifting my motorcycle. Once my bike is up I will be using this lift to stabilize my bike from side to side on my front crash bar mounts. The two supports actually don't work for my needs, so I made two different supports to fit across my crash bars perfectly. I can't speak about this lift working to actually lift my bike as the primary lift, but the lift is very well made and well worth the money.

Just what I needed for a special mission
Purchased this to control the table height on a bench drill press. This is an older model that when you loosened the lock on the column you have to support the weight of the table both up and down. Using a battery drill to run up and down solved the problem.

Not a sturdy piece, sloppy built..
I have purchased 2 other motorcycle jacks of this type, so I have something to compare this one to.Didn't notice until a couple uses, but side by side with the other jacks, it's quite wobbly and sloppy to raise and lower. The side bushings have a good 1/4 inch of play.... unbelieveable! Avoid this jack..My older jacks have no play in them and don't move side to side, rock solid....I returned, not quality. Piece of junk. Should be removed from selling!

Small and compact but very well built.
The low profile of this lift will easily slide under any bike. It can be used either with or without the two included saddles which are easily removable. It is easily raised or lowered with the wrench that is included or you can easily substitute the wrench with a socket and ratchet. It's simple design and non use of hydraulics should mean that it will last a lifetime. Even though it is slim and compact, it is very stable and well built. Fit and finish is good and I would definitely buy again.
