These are the single most helpful thing I’ve come across for teaching my kids to read. They now have the puddle pieces to decide big words in their books and can sound out nearly everything. (Teach 1-2 per week so they don’t get overwhelmed) I’ve even learned so much about the English language through these cards! The only thing that would make it even better is if it included the spelling rules so you knew the rules for “oi” vs “oy” without having to look it up or ask their teacher. Overall, I think these are a must for teaching your child how to read!

Wonderful seller who went out of their way to make sure our little girl got these in time for Christmas. She specifically asked for these from Santa, so we didn’t want to disappoint. She absolutely loves them and has been practicing her phonograms all day. Can’t beat giving the gift of reading. Thank you!

I am a firm believer in using the Spalding phonogram cards to teach young children (starting with Kindergarten age). I have been with two schools that used them as part of their curriculum. The first 35 for K. All 72 for 1-5 or 6. Your children will be amazing readers and enjoy it more as well.

My second grade granddaughter has trouble decoding, which had caused her to fall behind in her reading. Using these cards has improved her ability considerably! I’m very happy with her progress.

The BEST resource for a struggling reader. Gets back to basics - phonics to help decoding words. Invaluable resource that I wish was used in public schools. My child jumped 2 reading grade levels in 6 months using these cards. Worth every penny.
